Three Emirati banks signed an 869 million dollar deal to finance the building of Burj Dubai -- projected, at around 800 metres, to become the world's tallest tower, the official WAM news agency reported. [...] Burj Dubai, due for completion at the end of 2008, will be the centerpiece of a multi-billion-dollar Burj Dubai District and Downtown Dubai. The tower, whose exact height has yet to be finalised, will feature a hotel and apartments which will occupy the space between ground level and 112th level, and corporate suites from the 112th level onwards.
